What's a good free animation software for beginners? I was GONNA use adobe animate but they found me out (I absolutely would never pirate adobe software.)

Idk how to get people to see this post :P

Flipnote on the Nintendo DSi.

I would but I gotta fix my DS it's like SUPER broken

In order from worst to best (all of them are really good they just have different drawbacks)
Ibis paint X, Flip-a-clip, Surprisingly Blender's grease pencil feature (There's a big learning curve to this one tho), and Krita :)

Oh okay say less, thankzz

@SLUSHIE-SWEETHEART Put Blender over Krita and then we're good!

Okay now on the serious side, nice list :3

If you're talking free, technically you can use Flash MX 2004, since that's the only Legal and Free way to use Flash lol

You can also use Blender, Krita, Pencil 2D, or go with Mr. Paywall (Flip-A-Clip)

Yeah it's definitely between blender and krita lol

@Ozziebrugh You should look up both features to determine what you want to pick, though if you go with Blender, there MIGHT be a learning curve, but overtime you'll handle it lol

@TinFoi I just put it there for the large learning curve, if I were recommending stuff to a seasoned animator I'd put it at the top, it's not the most beginner friendly.
And thanks dude! I've tried a lot of programs so the least I can do is offer up my knowledge to help others ^w^

@SLUSHIE-SWEETHEART Hey, it's what we do!
